Gary V. GuariscoGary Guarisco has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.  Gary joined PTLA in 2003 and in 2005, Gary assumed the role of President of PTLA and had responsibility of all operating interest for PTLA. In 2010 his role expanded to President & Chief Executive Officer.

Gary began his career in 1979 with Hines Interest managing and leasing properties in Houston, Texas before moving to San Francisco in 1982. In 1988 he joined Sunset Development Company as VP of property management where he oversaw a portfolio of 2 million square feet of office space in San Ramon, California.

In 1990 Gary joined COMPASS Management and Leasing, Inc. as the head of its Northwest region. The size of the portfolio at that time was 1.8 million square feet under management. Over a seven-year period he grew the region to be the largest in the company at 32 million square feet. In January of 1998 he relocated to Atlanta, Ga. as the Chief Operating Officer for COMPASS Management and Leasing, Inc. At that time the company's national portfolio was over 200 million square feet of office and industrial space, divided in nine regional offices and five international offices. COMPASS merged with La Salle Partners in October 1998 at which time Gary relocated back to the Bay Area as the EVP and Division President for the Western states for the new combined organization, Jones Lang La Salle.

Gary is a graduate of the University of Maryland, graduating with a BA degree in 1974.
